what you have to do to get an umbreon is get an eevee on ruby, emerald, or sapphire. then level it up at night but be sure not to have it lose a lot of health (otherwise that will make the happiness level go down a little, and you need it to be happy for it to evolve). if you want an espeon the you do the same thing only during the day. the reason you have to be on ruby, emerald, or sapphire is that in leaf green/fire red there is no concept of day of night because there is no time. (:
First, you need to obtain the national pokedex. Umbreon isn't from kanto region. You need have an eevee level up with high friendship from 8pm to 4am.

∙ 9y agoTo get Umbreon in Pokemon LeafGreen you need an Eevee at max happiness and for it to be nighttime. Simply level up your Eevee and it should evolve into Umbreon.
