The best way is to download them onto a computer, equipped with a DVD burner. The video can then be edited properly and then burnt to a disc.

The computer needs a video capture card or dongle, which are often bundled with appropriate editing software. The cables then connect between the capture card and the camcorder, simply play back the material whilst watching on the computer, until the capture is finished.

Alternatively, you can just hook up the output of the camera to a DVD recorders inputs.

Play back the recording on the camera and hit record on the DVD recorder. You will only get a copy of the unedited material this way.

It all depends on the sort of camcorder. I presume it uses tapes. Other types record onto memory sticks or mini discs.

A memory stick recorder is simpler, as the files can be uploaded to a computer easier.
