You get water by folowing the river by your first cave then a part that leads down into the water will show up and you can drink from there. then you will trigger a event. if you got a bottle (usually showed up in the beach, after storm, heavy rain, or tsunami, or sometime suddenly there), drink from the river, and you can stores water in it.
