EDIT: WHY would you want to get rid of them - they aerate the soil by creating tiny tunnels as the move. Also - they eat decaying leaves and other vegetable matter from the surface - turning it into fertiliser which is excreted again as the worm travels through the soil ! Snakester1962 (Supervisor)
