It is as simple as opening the box. You will not always get YoCash. It is random. Sometimes you will get a prize, and other times you will get either YoCash or YoCoins. There is no way to predict a gift, or to force it to be YoCash.
To open the box, go into decoration mode. Place the box in your room like you would furniture. Save the room, and then click on the box. You will be notified what prize the mystery box contained.
