The Howard Miller Company specializes in chiming wall and mantle clocks. August Schwer, Rombach & Haas and Robert Herr manufacture cuckoo clocks under the Black Forrest Cuckoo Clocks name. Cuckoo clocks are those where a bird appears through a small trap door in time with the hourly chime followed by twelve melodies (one for each hour).
My parents are very strict. For example, you can only watch one hour of TV each morning. Adding a period after "strict" and a comma after "For example" will correct the sentence.
I HAVE A ATHLETIC WATCH FROM WALMART BIG FACE AW150 MODEL THAT WENT INTO MILITARY TIME. I HAVE THE INSTRUCTIONS BUT IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT SETTING MILITARY TIME. HOW DO I GET IT BACK TO NORMAL TIME When the hour is set the watch goes through two sets of 24 hour choices, one set for regular time, one for military time. After pressing the lower left button three times and the lower right button once you are setting the hour of the time. When an 'H' appears to the right of the time, these are the military hour choices. Keep pressing the upper right button until the 'H' disappears (an 'A' appears to indicated AM hours), then the hours depicted are regular time hours. When the correct hour appears press the lower right button.
If the hour count is wrong simply move the hour hand to the correct time. The hour hand is a friction fit and it will not damage it to move it. If the hour is striking on 6 instead of 12 quickly move the minute hand to 12 when it begins to strike the hour.
My parents are very strict; for example we can only watch one hour of TV each evening.put a comma after example A+
The term "three bells" at sea refers to a specific timekeeping convention used in maritime contexts. On ships, the day is divided into six four-hour watches, with each watch marked by the ringing of bells. Each hour within a watch is signaled by a bell, so "three bells" indicates that it is the third hour of a watch, which corresponds to 1:30. Therefore, 130 (or 1:30) is known as "three bells" at sea.
