There are a few things which need answers here. What reason did he have for accusing you of stealing? What was it you were supposed to have stolen, and from who or where that he had cause to accuse you? Did others see you steal anything. If no one else can accuse you it is your word against his.
Ask yourself "Do I really want him back after accusing me of something I did not do?"
You may not have any proof that you did not steal, but then it sounds as if he has no proof that you did. It may be his was of using a drastic measure of dropping you. I suggest you give him a wide birth no matter your feelings towards him, besides why would you want him back after the cruel accusation he made against you. Get on with your life and know in your heart that you are better off without him. I am sure you are a more intelligent young lady to get over any retaliation by so called friends.
