It has to mean something to him/you, so base it on what he likes - and look then for something cheap.
You aren't actually cheating physically by going out with this other guy, but you are definitely being dishonest by not having the backbone to tell your former boyfriend you care for someone else and that's a cheap shot! Remember, what you wouldn't want to happen to you (such as being lied too and used) the other person wouldn't like it either. Do this poor guy a favor and tell him the truth.
Tell him! Don't think cheap people don't know they aren't cheap. I have no problem with someone being frugal, but when they are out-and-out cheap and try to get others to pay their way or refuse to go anywhere because they are so cheap I let them know straight up. Sometimes cheap people can suck off of others as far as their friends always paying their way or putting in 100% to an event without the cheapskate putting in as much as a nickle. When in doubt, spit it out!
who cares if he is cheap.. it still shows they care. besides you never know he could be saving up for something really nice!!! (:
Technically yes, however being "cheap" has more negative connotations associated with it. Thrifty is more about "being careful" with money and using it wisely, whereas being "cheap" sometimes goes beyond just thrifty. However it's a subjective thing; one persons' "thrifty" is another persons' "cheap".
You cannot do a free background check on your boyfriend because of the 'privacy act.' However, if you think heischeating on you the only option is to hire a detective for a couple of weeks to find out more about your boyfriend, but it is not cheap.
