You should only be concerned about a cat's weight if your vet has advised you to do something about it.
That being said, there is a special food called a/d by Hill's. It is a prescription diet and intended for severely underweight or anorexic cats. It's manufactured to be very strong smelling and good tasting (to cats).
If your cat won't eat, try warming it's food only A COUPLE seconds. 1 or 2 at a time in the microwave. Mix it well and it should feel slightly luke-warm. This may tempt a cat into eating.
Baby food is another alternative. Plain chicken is likely going to be your best choice since other foods are unhealthy or may make your cat sick.
Finally, high-calorie kitten food will likely add a couple pounds to your cat. It's intended for kittens who need steady weight gain.
You can offer your cat wet or canned food instead of dry. Or try feeding your cat a more nutritious meal such as Prowl cat food, which is a dehydrated cat food that you just add water too. Other high quality cat foods are: Felidae, Blue Buffalo, Taste Of The Wild etc.
Not one single person answered the question, my cat has been to the vet and is perfectly fine other than being unweight (5.25lbs). We've tried the "special" food from the vet, no help. Adding olive oil! did increase appetite and eliminate fur balls, also helped with bowel movements, but did not help gain weight. Feeding chicken falavored Gerbers baby food, has help gain some weight but not enough. Anyone know of some high calorie / high protein powder that can be added to a cats diet?
If your cat is not eating i would call your vet.But its stomach may be upset so give him/her some cat grass or milk (never give cats milk if they feel fine because most cats are lactose and tolerant)
you feed it

Cat eat mostly meat & also fish.
They can eat normal cat food like any other color of cat.
IT doesn't eat pooh. No cat eats pooh it eats cat food.
no they can not other wise your cat will die
Well think about what a cat eats.Cats eat mice and mice eat corn.So if the mice eat the corn then they would grow and be healthy for the cat to eat.If the mice didn't eat corn then they wouldn't grow so the cat wopuldn't have anything to eat.So corn is important to a cat because mice eat corn and cat eat mice.Hoped it helped!
Your cat should not do that.
it depends on the cat
