You should only be concerned about a cat's weight if your vet has advised you to do something about it.

That being said, there is a special food called a/d by Hill's. It is a prescription diet and intended for severely underweight or anorexic cats. It's manufactured to be very strong smelling and good tasting (to cats).

If your cat won't eat, try warming it's food only A COUPLE seconds. 1 or 2 at a time in the microwave. Mix it well and it should feel slightly luke-warm. This may tempt a cat into eating.

Baby food is another alternative. Plain chicken is likely going to be your best choice since other foods are unhealthy or may make your cat sick.

Finally, high-calorie kitten food will likely add a couple pounds to your cat. It's intended for kittens who need steady weight gain.
