First, go to Facebook or join if you haven't already, the only way to acsess farmville is via Facebook.Once you're there, Type in FarmVille and click enter. All these options will pop up. On the left hand side of your computer, find the word APPLICATIONS and click on it. Other options will pop up. Click the first one. A page will pop up with this little box on it. Click the button that says GO and you will be playing Farmville for the first time. You won't need to do all these steps later on.
