How do you get your kids to do what you ask them to do?

Try to reward them with a toy or candy (only works for little kids)

For older kids try threatening to send them to their room or grounding them.

With High School kids, do it yourself, they'll never listen. Don't always get your kids to do work for you, they aren't slaves, and they could think your abusing them. If they don't do what you tell them like you can't get them to stop being bad then be assertive and never take no for an answer.
