i had to do a lot of convincing to get my eyebrow piercing done, if you don't wanna wait till your 18 then try to make a compromise and stick to it. mine was that this would be the last piercing i get.
Your parents could feel that your too young or you need to wait also they don't want you to grow up I had to wait till I was 11 to get mine
it depends what type of ear piercing you mean. for a lobe piercing it can take just a few seconds because its a gun. do not let them use a gun to pierce cartilage! a cartilage piercing can take a minute or two. i have 6 piercings so i speak from experience when i say most piercings are short and painless
save up abit of pocket money, and go to a ear piercing shop and get your ear pierced then tell your parents after.
I want my collar bones done, and have yet to figure out how to persuade my parents. For septum, tell them it;s not like somewhere else on your face, like nose, eyebrow or monroe, that will scar. Your septum is like your nose (all cartilage) and cartilage can close very very easily.
Do it ur self in the bathroom and keep it a total secret!! I did it and that is the best answer i got!! it doesnt hurt at all go really slow
I've had both my nose and my daith (inner ear cartilage), and let me tell you, the daith was by far the most painful. The nose is quick and slides right through, but the cartilage in the ear is much thicker and harder to get a needle through, plus, the location of the daith is so close to your eardrum, it basically throbs your entire head for a few hours. I can't speak for belly rings or tongue rings, but I have a friend who has her belly pierced and she said that it hurt her quite a bit.
No
Honestly, you can't convince them. Either they will let you or they won't.
While many parents disagree with piercing of their teens body it is a fad just as we all fads we went through. If your daughter is 15 or over then take her to a reliable and hygienic salon and ask questions before making this decision.
I think you should point out to your mom that ear piercings are more traditional than belly button or tongue piercings and if you managed to keep those from being infected you than can do the same with the ear piercings.
Just do it yourself if you want it so bad...
Well, it depends on the headache and what kind of headache. I pierced my cartilage twice (not at the same time) by myself and sleeping with them in the first week or so was a little painful to my ear and side of head. If its red, and tender then, I would say yeah, that seems to be normal. But a regular headache? I don't know. I'm not a doctor, I just have experience with piecing pains. :) Hope this helped, if it didn't let me know!
