To get your Popularity to go up you need to write comments about the answers given.
Question PopularityPopularity is a simple system we use at WikiAnswers to determine the relative value of a question to WikiAnswers visitors. The "Popularity: 103" under the specific question to which you are referring means that no fewer than 103 people have given the thumbs up to that specific question: they consider it an interesting/worthy question, etc. The higher the popularity rating of a question, the higher up it appears in the list of questions of that specific category, and the greater the chance it has of being answered.
WikiAnswers' popularity has risen over the past few years, and has surpassed Yahoo! Answers in the last quarter of 2009.
