Hopefully good, but I don't think that we should feel good about ourselves all the time. When we do bad things, we feel bad for a reason... so that we can change, and fix the problems that we have caused. In general, we should clean up our lives so we can feel good about ourselves, and not worry about temporary things that don't matter, like a bad hair day or whatever.

Forget about the bad day. You know you can do better. Use the sports as a way to aim for a better day. If it was a bad performance, set your target to do better next time. Examine your mistakes and learn from them. All the greatest sports people have had bad days, but they came back and did better. They did not let the bad days affect them. They used them to do better the next time. You can do that too.
