I was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago and have been on Glucophage 500 mg. BID. I recently took Prednisone short term for poison ivy. My labs showed alot of protein in my urine. Do you think the Prednisone did this?
This could possibly be a side effect if you have been taking it for a long time. Best to see your doctor.
Yes! hot flashes, sweating, and clamminess are a VERY common side effect of prednisone. I have ulcerative colitis and have been on and off it many years myself and this happens all the time. The lower the dosage you go, however, this should start to alleviate.
I have been prescribed both, at the same time, by an experienced physician and they were not flagged at the pharmacy. I have taken both without a problem.
My hair thinned out a lot after taking prednisone for about 6 months. I took 25 mg for 2 weeks and then reduced. Its been 4 months since I stopped the prednisone and my hair has almost grown back. I still have a sort of bald spot and I hope this will grow. There are a lot of side effects with prednisone and this is why some people call the drug, the devils drug. If your lucky enough not to have to continue with this drug, count yourself lucky.
Not that I'm aware of and I've been taking it for years.
If you have been reliant on Viagra for an extended period and are now experiencing difficulty maintaining an erection without it, it may be a sign of underlying physical or psychological issues. It is advisable to consult a healthcare provider to assess the situation and explore potential treatment options or alternatives. It is important to address the root cause rather than relying solely on medication in the long term.
