What color makes light brown when you hair is red?
basicly you should be able to put a light brown dye over it and it should be the color you want because your hair color depends on all the colors in it. if you have black hair it also has brown red and blond in it, brown also has red and blond, red is just that and blond & blond is just that. so you can just go from red to brown you shouldn't need to do anything else but if you wanted to go from blond to brown you would have to use a red base other wise you wont have the red to make the brown

Unfortunately, yes. I have light brown hair too and when I tried to die it blond it turned carrot orange. The only way to die your hair blond if you have brown hair is to either die it a very very very dark blond (which would not really be very different to your colour) or bleach it and then die it. Except that would be permanent and does a lot of damage to your hair. So if I were you, I would just keep it brown. Having brown hair is not that bad. Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way. PS. : I know this because I tried it before and also I have been a cosmetologist for 25 years now, so trust me, DON'T DO IT.

Well I would dye the top layers brownish-yellow. Then the bottom layers light orange, if you have pale or tan skin. If you have brown or golden skin, go for brown hair with light brown and blond highlights.

no? because the sun makes your hair lighter but u wud hav to sit in the sun for months for that to happen but even then it wouldnt go right...
