First, you go into the library and go on the veryu last level of the floors and drag the mouse over the books on the cart and there should be a stack of books that you can click on, when you click on them the floor will open go down that and you are in the dungeon when you go out the librarian will be standing there with 2 of the guards the librarian will say "you had no reason snooping about down there" but that is how you get into the dungeon.
