You use a ball, (transparent) and leave it outside in the sun. This ball will start to heat but, not boil. Then, you will See some red lines in your ball. Leave the ball where it is. Get some candy. Try to cut a hole on top of the ball but, don't bust it! That part is crucially important! Get a plastic tube and place it in the hole. Get your candy and put it through the tube. While the candy is in the ball, the red lines in the ball will start to show, through the candy. Making a rainbow is simple, water and sun. She a Hoes pipe, a glass of water of a sprinkler, and start to pour it over the ball. This will be your candy a rainbow.
Hope this helps! :)
there are materials inside of the crystal to help them grow
No, crystals are chemical compounds that are not considered to be alive.
No the color of rock color candy does not change the speed in which it grows.
It may be that the nylon is to smooth to provide a platform for the crystals to form.
Normally they should grow on the stick or string and that is if you do it properly but it is quite likely that the crystals will grow on the base of the container/glass
Well, I'm doing a science fair project on rock candy and my crystals seem to take about a week to grow. It depends on what type of crystals you are growing. I am growing rock candy, but if you are trying to grow real crystals it could take a couple of weeks or even months,.
crystals, grown from sugar
To grow sugar crystals and make rock candy, you can manipulate factors such as temperature, saturation, and seed crystals. By dissolving a high concentration of sugar in hot water, you create a supersaturated solution. As the solution cools, the sugar begins to crystallize; adding seed crystals can help initiate this process. Keeping the solution undisturbed in a cool, dark place allows larger crystals to form over time.
to make crystals grow
Yes crystals do grow under the ground.
crystals best grow in warm temperatures.
Alum crystals and sugar crystals grow at the same rate at an increasing time rate making them grow the fastest
