through the door That actually is no help, whoever wrote that. If you want to get into the Silph Co. building you need to first go to Lavender town. You will have to get to the top floor of the PPokemon tower where you will fight a level 30 Marowhak. (Assuming you have the sliph scope from the Team rocket base in the Game Corner) After that you go to the final floor and go through the grunts and talk to the man at the end, he will give you a poke-flute and then the Silph Co. building should be unblocked.
