How do you have Meowth know moves such as Assist and Last Resort in Pokemon X and Y?

The one option that you can use in order to get Meowth to learn Assist and Last Resort is you will have to go with the breeding option since they are both egg moves for it and because of which you will need to use a female Meowth (or Persian) and place her in the Daycare and then you will need to use males of either Skitty, Delcatty, Purrloin or Liepard who have Assist in their move set and one of the males will also need to be in the Daycare and then after that it'll hatch into a Meowth (making sure it's a female one) that knows Assist and then you can use a male Eevee that knows Last Resort and breed him with the female Meowth that knows Assist and it will hatch into a Meowth that knows Assist and Last Resort.

∙ 9y agoIn Pokemon X and Y, Meowth can learn Assist and Last Resort if you teach him to use them. You can teach the abilities by using HMs and TMs, or allow Meowth to evolve and learn them.

I think the only good thing about skitty is assist. Its baiscally giving skitty a lot more moves. I once did a playthrough with skitty once but I used tm's to teach five other pokemon moves or moves they learned on their own but I never used the pokemon. Now I have a skitty with three moves and assist giving me 20more moves.Skitty is good but its not really that amazing.But is really good for contests.
