You should clean it with alchohol. It will slow the healing prcess slightly but it is worth the wait if you want to keep your ear. If possible remove it and clean the holes, if not get a q-tip douse it in alchohol and clean around the holes thoroughly. Do not clean it with alcohol or remove the piercing. I am getting my industrial next week and have been doing a lot of research. Every source has said not to remove the jewelry or clean it with alcohol. Call your piercer and consult them on what to do. You can also see a doctor about it if it gets worse.

∙ 10y agoDO NOT USE ANY SORTS OF ALCOHOLS OR TREE TEA OILS!!!!! Neosporin is also NOT a good idea...because this will seal the wound shut leaving it unable to breath. Most times...an infection like this...your body will tend to do the healing itself....dont touch or pick at the scabs or crusties!! But when mine got a bump...i used EMU OIL....clean the piercing out with nonscented anitbacterial soap and use this oil as often as possible...the more the better.....you should be able to find some of this oil at a piercing place! Hope that helps
the best thing you can do is go to the tattoo parlor where you were originally pierced and ask them for tips. But for now keep the area clean using anti- bacterial soap, bactine spray, salt and water or whatever your piercer instructed you to use. Also keep lotions and makeup away from your nose.

∙ 15y agoclean gently with soap and warm water, then use ozonol or polysporin , if you want to keep the piercings open , you must ONLY use pure gold earings(sleepers), they should be healed in about a week. If they have not healed you must see a doctor so they do not get any worse.

∙ 10y agoYou can keep at cleaning your piercing with dial soap, but it may start to dry your skin which will make you want to clean it less & then your piercing will be dirty & get sore. If you find the dial gets too drying, then start cleaning it with saline solution.
