Wear only steel or titanium in it. Go to the doctor's to get antibiotics to help clear it up. Clean it with a mixture of natural sea salt and water- pinch of sea salt into shotglass of warm water. Do that 2-3 times a day for 5 mins. Don't use alcohol or peroxide. If you don't have salt yet, use soap only once or twice a day until you can go out and get salt. Soap may be too drying/irritating. Avoid touching and playing with your ear.
Irritating the piercing will make it take longer to heal. It also increases the risk of infection
Some do and some don't. Get a qualified medical opinion about the specific infection in the specific baby.
Leaving it alone! no joke. The more you play with a recently pierced area, the longer it takes to heal and the more likely there is of a chance of infection. Just leave it alone and it'll heal up in no time.
Remove the earring, clean it and clean the hole in your ear, replace the earring back into your ear. Try and use jewelry cleaner for the earrings and rubbing alcohol or alcohol wipes for your ears. You can use rubbing alcohol to clean your earrings as well if you do not have jewelry cleaner. Do this once a day for a few days and it should heal the infection.
Pus coming out of the ears could be a sign that the eardrum has ruptured due to extreme pressure from an infection, usually from an infection called otitis media, or inflammation/infection of the middle ear. Continued infection could permanently damage hearing due to tissue destruction and/or scarring. The best thing to do is to have a health professional evaluate and see if antibiotics or ear drops, or both, are needed to help it heal properly.Other infections of the ear canal can create drainage, and need to be treated before they spread. The ear is an easy place to get an infection called cellulitis, so it shouldn't be ignored, either.
An ear infection is when you get an infection in your ear.
Your ear takes 6 weeks to heal from a piercing.
The ear drum will heal but it will leave scar tissue. So you may have slight hearing loss in that ear. There is nothing that will heal the ear drum to its original condition.
NO. I am sure that letting it heal for the recommended 6 weeks before gauging the hole is safer as it reduces the risk of infection or damage to the ear lobe.
You really shouldn't. It would make your body even weaker and you want to fight the infection off as quickly as possible. Your ear piercing wouldn't heal as well either.
Can you use ketoconazole cream inside your ear for ear fungal infection?
