How do you help someone who is suicidal because of you?

We should help suicidal people becauase we can't let someone we love or know die and think of death and let them suffer from a painful thing we need to help others that are suicidal. Don't let them think of death, because what if that suicidal person was someone you knew then when they commit suicide you just lost someone you love. HELP the SUICIDAL!!!

I broke up with my boyfriend of 8 years (since we were teenagers) just before Christmas last year,

I left with his best friend who was living in our house,

I gave him the house, the dog and almost everything else, but I felt and still feel terrible for what I did,

I still talk to him on the phone, occasionally he gets angry and doesn't want to hear from me and then I just wait until he calls me again,

He called me today (almost 8 months on) and said he is feeling suicidal, he said we we're supposed to be together forever & that sort of thing,

He thinks his life is over and he doesn't have anyone he cars about or who cares for him…

He is living with his parents but doesn't have many friends.

I don't know how I can help him or if I am just making it worse for him since I don't want to get back together,

He wants to see me, but I don't know if it's a good idea, plus my boyfriend doesn't like me to see him understandably…

I don't know what to do, how do you help someone who is suicidal because of you??

AnswerLook, I'm no expert at this, but find a counseller, one that deals with relationship problems and talk to them. If someone is suicidal, and another doesn't want you to see them, then don't see him, but get some other form of communication like e-mail or Skype, or letter or phone. Recommend a counseller to him. If your current boyfriend still doesn't want you to see this guy, then dump him. Because if he's restricting you, then he's a total jackass who is only with you for someting not involving love. Trust me, if this doesn't work, thien I don't know what will.
