Holding down the ctrl button and A button highlights everything.
However when pasting the frames and other formatted columns might not appear as originally displayed in the page, I'm not sure of a way to counter that.
If copying a small page that has everything displayed on the screen that you want saved, holding shift and pring screen(or some abbreviation of print screen) buttons will copy the current display on the monitor to be pasted in an image program IE: mspaint.

to use in a copy and paste situation- instead of having to manually use the cursor to highlight the entire page, you may go to the select all option and everything will be instantly high-lighted for you to either copy content of page or to erase everything you have put on a page.
