the only way to hook rock-smith to a acoustic guitar is to buy a pickup that mounts into the sound hole.
this requires drilling a hole in the guitar for the female jack that is on most Electric Guitar's so you can plug in a cord.
the pickup is wired to the female jack that is installed.
Definitely, there isn't really a distinction between electric-acoustic and just electric amps. You can hook up your acoustic to any amp that has a clean setting, which is basically anything. Just don't plug it into a bass amp o_O
Of course, you can only hook a guitar to the guitar mixes on the game, but when you go to play the setlist, itll say you need to connect a guitar, that's when you connect it
yes you can....you need an adapter and you can get one at bestbuy or radio shack...i hooked up my bass to mine. it is a y-cable tsf to dual rca
The MBox2 is connected with a USB cable.
If it has one pin you can put a string on the other end of your strap and attach that to the headstock. If there's no pin at all, that's a little tricky. If this is an acoustic you have to drill a pilot hole on the bottle first, then screw in the strap pin and use the string method

It Depends what guitar you have. If it is wireless then plug the receiver into the slot in the PS2 where you would normally plug in your games controller. If it is not wireless I would guess that you plug it into the USB cable place. The will turn on when you turn the PS2 on. (to turn on the guitar, press the START button)
