You need to get a TECH sheet for your car..It will tell you all the connections that need to be made in the car with colors and locations.. Most car audio shops will sell you one for a fee. A word of advice.. If you not eletronic minded .. BE Cautious.. you can burn up the Alarm module if not done properly.. you will make about 20 different connections...

disconnect the 97 Thunderbirds battery cables. Find the battery hold down and remove it. Lift the battery out, then lower the new one in. Install the clamp and hook up the cables.
Unhook battery cables and then hook back up. Just a temporary fix for an alarm that won't stop. The system can't be completely disarmed unless you want to take a chance on the engine being disabled.
