There are some issues with initially connecting to the LinkSys wireless router, however if you follow the directions here: http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Wireless_Routers&thread.id=74127 you should be able to make it work.
You cannot connect the iPod Touch to a Linksys router via cable, but you can connect to it through Wi-Fi.
Settings --> WiFi ---> Linksys (you should see it if your Linksys router is working properly
Put in the password. if you dont know the password you cant get on
Virtually any wireless router will work. If it works for a laptop, it will work for your iPod touch. The most common wireless routers are Linksys, NetGear, and 2wire, just to give you a hint at what most people are using as wireless routers these days i find that 2wire works the best and linksys doesnt work at all for my iPod touch.
You hook your Ipod touch back into your computer. Get it to sync all of your apps back on. This may take a while
you might want to reset your ipod to do that or hook it up to your computer
delete the pictures off of itunes, then hook your ipod up to your computer and sync.
If it is saying you should hook it up to iTuens, it is not broken. You must, as it says, hook it up to iTunes, register your iPod, and download the latest software for it. Then, the iPod becomes useable. Your iPod is not broken, and this usually occurs if it is a new iPod.
No, you don't have to. Only if you want to make calls on it you can.
If you don't know the password, you are likely not authorized to use the router, Contact the operator of the router for permission.
You hook it up to a computer, go to itunes on internet, then buy apps.
