Columns are identified by a letter or letters (at the top of the column) - A, B, C.... Z, AA, AB, AC, ....
Rows are identified by numbers (at the left of the sheet) - 1, 2, 3, ....
Cells are identified by column and row - A1, B24, AA5, etc.
Groups of cells are identified by a range, starting with the first cell and ending with the last - C4:C8, D6:G10, etc.
The cell name is determined by combining the column letter and row number. For example, the cell in the top left corner is called A1.
