You can download them from www.fretsonfire.wikidot.com, but if you want to import them, download the OGG encoder, extract it to your Frets on Fire folder, remname it to oggenc.exe, the run FOF, go to song editor, import Guitar Hero songs. You must have 1GB of free disk space for this too work. Enter the path to you CD drive (EX. DVD DR (E) HP:C) and insert your GH disc and it would import them. BEWARE: this can take a LONG time. Just wait. It can take over 4 hours. If you can't wait that long, then just sop halfway through and it should pick up where it left off next time you start it.
The Frets on Fire forum is probably the best place.
Frets on Fire
The original frets on fire can be downloaded from geetarfreaks.net . Frets On Fire MFH Mod(Or FOFiX) can also be downloaded from this website, along with many themes, and the songs from: Guitar Hero 1, 2, Encore(Rocks The 80s), 3(legends of rock). Rock band 1, 2 & DLC FOFiX Supports Drums, Bass & Guitar(Lead Rythm or Normal) but only if the song has it. For Examle: You can't play drums on a GH1 game because it doesn't actually have drums in the real game. All guitar Hero 3 Songs have at least Bass and Guitar. All songs from the rock band games support at least Drums, Guitar, Bass, Rythm. matACCADACCA
No. Frets on Fire is a computer game that mimics Guitar Hero's play style. You can use the keyboard, or connect an Xbox 360 Guitar Hero controller (for some reason they're the only ones that are out-of-the-box compatible with Windows). The difference between Frets on Fire and Guitar Hero is that you can use your own music.
