You need to have the professional version of Acrobat to have that capability. There are other factors in the creation of a PDF that will prevent any edits or changes. A work around for this is to place the PDF in a text editing program like InDesign, add the text box and export a new PDF.

User:Studiokshould have said "I don't know.", because the answer is NOT an answer. The question was "HOW DO YOU DO IT", not "Why can't I do it."

Therefore, the answer MUST contain the steps to show the process.

User:Studiokmisunderstood, and thought the person wanted to know why it wasn't working.

I HAVE Adobe Acrobat PROFESSIONAL 7.0, and even THEY don't tell you how to do it, so even after looking at this page, I'm STILL looking for an answer after having paid several hundred dollars for the "privilege" of being able to do so.

Studiok needs to stop answering questions he/she doesn't know the answers to.

I wrote this as a note to others to avoid wasting time thinking that Stuidok has a meaningful answer here. Seek an answer elsewhere.

How do you convert a scanned Adobe document into JPG format for free and without hassle?

The professional version of Adobe Acrobat allows you to save as or export to a jpeg file. The free version of Acrobat Reader does not have this functionality. A work around may be to place or import the Adobe file into a word processing program and then save as or export the Word file as a jpeg. The document can also be re-scanned as a jpeg file for a third option. If the document has text I would not recommend a jpeg file for anything other than viewing on a monitor.

How do you rotate text box in Adobe Acrobat Professsional 8?

How do you rotate text box in Adobe Acrobat Professsional 8?" I ran into this problem recently. I was trying to edit a pdf with a number of schematics. One of the schematics was rotated 90 degrees. I wanted to inserted text box labeling the drawing but needed to rotate the text box so it faced the same way as the drawing did. I don't believe you can rotate a text box in Adobe Pro 8.0. However, you CAN rotate a page and then insert a text box once the page orientation is the same as the orientation of the text you want to insert. My solution: instead of rotating the text box (like you would do in MSWord), rotate the page. Once you have finished making changes, you can re-rotate it back to its original orientation and the text box will move right along with the page. Hope this helps!

RDF files cannot be opened with Adobe Acrobat (think the previous answer meant to reference PDF files). RDF files can be opened with a simple text editor such as notepad.

Will a PDF editor allow conversations to word documents?

Most basic PDF readers can convert from PDF to Word. GoogleDocs, Adobe Reader, and Adobe Acrobat can all do it. But if your PDF is made from a scanned page, you sometimes won't be able to convert it to text because the file is made up of images, not text that's readable to a computer.

Why might a PDF attachment not display in English?

There could be several reasons why a PDF attachment does not show English text when it is opened:The original document was not written in English, and the Adobe PDF program is simply presenting the information in the language in which it was first written. There are code errors in the PDF file you have received, and your version of Adobe Acrobat is consequently unable to display 'English text' for that document.Your version of Acrobat is out of date or has become corrupted.Your computer is not configured to show English text when deciphering a .PDF document. You have a virus in your PC.
