How to import(insert) clips(media) into Windows Movie Maker:
> Click File, and then click Import Media Items.
> Navigate to the file you want to import, and then click Import.

None of them do. Windows Movie Maker programs do not come with integrated clips/clipart, etc.
You need to convert Quicktime videos to a format compatible with Windows Movie Maker.
If you are trying to insert a new clip into an existing clip in Windows Live Movie Maker, you can't do that. You can only add clips in between other clips. In other words, you can add pictures or separate video clips in the project and drag them around to where you would like them. However, you can't combine them.
