remove driver wheel and break assembily. drop lower ball joint and pop the axel out but dont pull on it pry it from the trany. then u have to lossen the alternator and the bracket it was attached to then revers to install
It depends on the axle. Look on the driver's door jamb for the axel code and do an internet search for it.
In order to fix the right axel of an Acura Integra the passenger side control arm, wheel hub assembly, and other suspension components must be removed. The axel is held in the transmission by a locking pin which also has to be removed. The axel will then be able to slide out of it's place.

It is just bout as cheap to install a rebuilt axel. Get a manual and it will show you how. I agree. Fixing the CV joints or boots isn't worth it considering most replacement axles come with a lifetime warranty.

Labor to install one half shaft for this vehicle should be 1-1.5 hours maximum. Assuming a labor rate of approximately 100$ the estimated total for one CV with parts and labor would be 150-200$.
