you should probably find a place to run the power wire through the fire wall...there is usally a hole with a gasket surrounding it with factory wires already going threw it jsut punch a hole in it and feed your power wire threw....then ground it....this can usally be done any where metal on the truck...once grounded hook the power wire up...then find a place for you coax cable probably under the carpet and threw the sliding rear window....or door....or by making your own hole and hook it onto your whip or smaller anttena....but with the advent of the cell phone not much conversation goes on the civil broadcast
