1st remove power from unit, then if applicable remove old nonworking pump from existing drain line, or locate the current drain from indoor coil,

pipe three quarter inch PVC to any of the openings located in rear and front of pump, you must remove cardboard shipping tab located in top side of pump to release the float from the shipping position. then run a three eighths vinyl tubing to whatever desired length to drain, keep in mind the total equivalent length of tubing as well as total rise on the pump as the longer these are the more you strain the pumps motor.

affix a metal ring clamp to the vinyl tubing at base of pump stub to hold the tubing to the pumps nipple during a discharge.

Plug the power cord into preferably its own receptacle on a dedicated independent breaker. But most of the time the condensate pump maybe hard wired into the furnaces main power connection, if you must do this, then make sure to break the 115v supply before the furnaces power switch, so that during servicing if you turn the furnace off, the pump will still stay energized and able to discharge. Next and most importantly you will need to wire in the pumps safety circuit by breaking and series wiring the smaller black 24v pig tails through the R circuit between furnace and thermostat. This is so that when pump eventually fails to purge itself the second float switch located in pump, slightly elevated above the first will actuate and turn unit off so as to not make any more condensation.

note you may also have a 240v pump these require the correct receptacle for pumps plug head. These are mainly used on air handlers where 240v is required for other component's located within to function. If you choose to eliminate plug you must be sure both of the conductors within pumps power supply are wired in correctly to both L1 and L2 and the ground is solid and true.

When your air is running you are getting water on the floor under the furnace what should you do?

Investigate the way in which condensation is being moved away from the heat exchange. Air conditioning dehumidifies the air as it cools it. The moisture from the process needs to go someplace. Usually there is a pipe that takes it to a sump pump or drain. This could be clogged. Or if it wasn't installed with a drain, you may need to install a condensation pump.

Need Water cooler with a evaporator drain. Have water connection but no way to drain. Any ideas?

You could use a condensation pump used on central AC units. A small pump in a pan that is float activated and pumps the water out. Uses a 3/8 inch hose that could be taken to a drain or outside.
