It depends on the computer model, it would require you to disassemble the laptop swap video cards then reassemble the laptop and this would be likely damage the computer. I too have looked into this.

∙ 12y agoDepending on which laptop you have, there is a low chance of putting a dedicated graphics card in your laptop. Most laptops have a intergrated graphics card(GPU) which CANNOT be upgraded as it is part of the motherboard(solderd on the motherboard). If you give me the details of your laptop IE name i can see if it can be upgraded.
