You purchase a tap set for the laundry tub that has a built in trap priming nipple and then run 1/4" Polyethelyne tubing from that nipple to the trap in the floor drain.
Floor drain collars with trap primer nipples are available.
The tubing may be run under the poured concrete floor of the basement.
Each time the water is used in the laundry tub, a trickle of water is also sent to the trap, preventing it from drying out.

A trap primer line is typically connected to the domestic cold water line, not the DWV system. Its purpose is to prevent evaporation of water in floor drains or traps by periodically supplying small amounts of water. In some cases, local plumbing codes may dictate specific requirements for trap primers.
An automatic trap primer works by pumping water into a drain trap. The water is sent from a cold water line in small amounts each time the line runs water. There must be an air gap between the drain water and the fresh water line. The simpler manual trap primer is provided by your usage of the drain. For a seldom used drain pour water into it every few months. A little mineral oil in the drain will slow the evaporation by sealing the water from the room air.
You know a trap primer has failed or is not working properly if the drain dries out and begins to smell like sewer gas. Sometimes the primer can be adjusted with an Allen wrench to get the water dripping again. Turn the Allen nut counterclockwise until you can see water dripping through the airgap. In my opinion as a journeyman plumber, they are notorious for failing over short periods of time.
Disconnect and remove p-trap from under fixture. Clean out clog in p-trap and re-install.
You need aP-trap under every sink. Get a plumber if you don't know what you are doing.
The same as any other P trap except it should empty into a properly trapped and vented fixture
under the sink waste plug hole
Absolutely NOT What is possible (Check local codes) is to install the trap 2 ft from the fixture and the vent 2 ft from the trap BUT if the trap is not easily accessible then your going to have major problems snaking the line
Check the venting and possibly install a trap
Yes, most certainly.
If you reduce the soil connection to 2" and install a trap
