How do you install webcam in your computer if you don't have the software?

In most cases installing peripheral devices such as webcams is simply a matter of plugging them in and allowing your operating system to detect it and find the appropriate drivers - either within the operating system itself or by trying to download the manufacturer's drivers directly (provided that the op sys correctly identifies the make and model). Sometimes the operating system can't precisely identify the equipment you are using and installs the component using the closest generic driver it possesses.
If your webcam has special features that the generic driver can't handle or just doesn't recognize you can often simply go to the manufacturer's website and download and install the correct drivers and software from them.

∙ 12y agoInstallation of such peripherals include installing the drivers. Without compatible drivers the camera will not work. It would therefore not be installed.

You have to check if the computer you are using is compatible with the new software windows 7 before downloading it.
