Replace the screws.
Unscrew the screws holding the cap and lift it up and away from the distributor. Pull the rotor straight up and install the new one.
On the 2.8L V6 the distributor cap is held on with two screws. Unscrew the two screws and pull straight up on the distributor cap to remove it from the distributor.

inside the van take out the center (dono what its called) "compartment" i guess.. and youll see the distributor. remove the old can which i think is 3 screws. and remove and attach your wires to the new cap and install..
