These BOV's are called super-sequential blow-offs. HKS and Greddy make excellent, top-of-the-line SS-BOV models.
HKS Ruch Zdzieszowice was created in 1946.
Stick with the BPV (by pass valve as a BOV (blow off valve) will mess up the air/fuel mixture since the WRX's MAF (mass air sensor) is before the turbo. It isn't worth the tuning headaches and would only really work properly if the MAF sensor is moved "after" the turbo/BOV. If you still want a BOV, The Hks unit is one of the more popular, but Tial, Blitz, Greddy, Turbo XS also make good units.
Battle of Bov happened on 1848-04-09.
The HKS CT230 is based on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8.

The term BOV means Board of Visitors in some instances, each operating in different places. The BOV in NC, primarily operates in NC State, as an advisor to the chancellor.
I looked into this, HKS has a good website including manuals. To actually answer this would take reproducing the manual.
At the front of the car by the front left wheel, if you can get under there you should see it, you don't even have to pop the bonnet
a BoV is always a bad idea with stock ECU/tuning, you will in fact lose alot of horsepower just throwing a BoV on your GST... FInd a good BPV for your car and recirculate it back into the intake. Also, your front mount/BoV has nothing to do with how much boost you run, in running more boost you need to get better forged rods, piston heads, etc. Also your stock T25 turbo can only push up to about 15psi safely but you shouldn't surpass the stock setting of 12 psi. YOU WANT TO INCREASE BOOST? Bigger turbo, better rods, fmic (front mount), external wastegate, a good piggyback (DSMLINK), or a true Standalone engine management system with extensive TUNING. ---All necessities.
Turbosmart BOV's are designed to improve the performance of the turbocharger system. They will not usually damage a car engine.
