the best way to do this is to connect both computer to a router or switch and set them up as a workgroup or VPN
Kind of..... From the legal side, no. Unless you buy a second license. If you install it on two computers that are on the same network, it will get upset. The first copy will open fine, but the second person to open Final Cut on their workstation will not be able to open the program. However, if you install it on two computers that are not on the same network, you should be just fine, as long as you don't register the serial number.
Local Area Network (LAN) allows two or more computers to access the internet through a single router and, by creating a shared folder/directory, to share data between any computer connected to the LAN.
A computer network - is two or more computers linked together. It's useful - because computers can communicate 'live' with each other. Additionally - If computers are networked, you only need one printer. All the computers on the network 'share' the printer between them.
Depends on what you mean by "close geographical range." This can mean anywhere from two computers within a house, two computers in a town or even two computers in the same country compared to two computers that are connected between continents. For a house that would be: *LAN (Local Area Network) *VPN (Virtual Private Network) *PAN (Private Area Network); This would include bluetooth For a town that could be: *LAN *WAN (Wide Area Network) Hope this helped.
The fist message sent between two computers was 'lo'. The person was trying to write 'Login' but the network crashed before he could complete.
Buy 2 or more network cards, install in each pc, buy router or hub. Follow directions for each and you should have no problem.
You have a network of computers!
It's main task is to handle traffic in a network. It allows multiple computers to communicate amongst each other and with computers outside the local network. A router also determines the shortest path possible for the information to be sent on between two computers.

my answer-> Its an all-in-oneanswer b4 mine->There are two ways to make that connection. You either try finding a paraller connection splitter, ie, a box that has one input parallel connection (for the printer) and two output parallel connections (to each of the computers) and somehow toggles between the computers when needed, or you install the printer in one of the computers and establish a network connection between the computers with printer sharing.
You will need a router, wireless adapter, to have a network connecting computers
It is possible to share a printer on a network. For example: two computers sharing one printer while the computers are connected to a home network (local Area Network - LAN). To share files between two computers, mark a folder or drive as shared - search Google on sharing files for more info.
