Find a website to download from and click download. Then save it to your desktop. When the donload is complete, unzip the file and place the correct files in to the proper section of your FS9 folder. The aircraft file goes to the Aircraft section of the FS9 folder, gauges contents to Gauges, effects, to Effects, etc.
when you download the plane unzip it to a new folder (label it the name of the plane) on your desktop and the move it to your aircraft directory in your main fsx folder if the zip file that you downloaded comes with extra folders (labeled gauges, effects, ect.)move them to there proper spots in your main fsx folder. hope this helps
You can download and install FSX aircraft addons from many different websites.
www.simviation.com and www.surclaro.com to name a couple. You download the file from the website, and then unzip it using a program like winzip or jzip, and then you place the specific folders in the unzipped file in the main directories of FSX that match those folders. If you do it right you can add a whole fleet of aircraft to your "virtual hangar." It just takes time and practice.
you can only download the demo of the Microsoft fsx website

The purpose of the FSX SDK is to create utilities, new scenery, missions, and aircraft. And it is not necessary to install it, usually a FSX newcomer who is new to the simulator series won't even install the SDK initially. They may later install it and use it to create aircraft and scenery and utilities.
