Your welcome
if you have a brake shoe on rear brakes, you do not have rear disk brakes pads go on disks.shoes go on drum brakes
If they are disk brakes, then just remove the caliper, compress the piston, and install the new pads. If they're drum, then take it somewhere and have it done. It's way too easy to mess them up if your not experienced.
To push the piston in you need a special tool. The rear disk brakes on this car screw in. So you have to turn them to the left while pushing in and this requires a special tool to fit the piston.
Remove the calipers and the disk will pull right off
Very carefully
You can't adjust disc brakes
The rear brakes on a 1984 Chevy truck are drum brakes.
yes
NO. I had a 96 and it had drum brakes. I believe the rear disk brakes started in 1998 for the Blazers.
If there a 16in wheel or bigger yes
We paid $170 for the rear disk pads and both rear rotors. That did not include install. Had my brother install them for $50
Depending on the model of Cavalier ( either sport or sedan or whatnot) it may have disk in the front and drum in the back or disk all around. Most cavaliers have disk brakes in the front and drums in the back. Mine does and so do alot of other cavaliers I've seen.
