Where is the fuse box on a Nissan Sentra 2009?

There are two fuse boxes in the sentra 2009, one is called IPDM (Intelligent Power Distributor Module) and the other is the In-Dash Fuse box... The IPDM is located on the left side of the car right below of the intake system near to the air filter under the hood. The in-dash is located into the car right on the driver's side at the left of the power steering collumn, the sentra has a compartment that u can take off in order to see the fuse. On the back of this compartment is the diagram in case u need it.

Why did your infiniti qx4 cut out?

My QX56 began to stall while driving and got progressively worse. The dealer service guys spent over 3 hours diagnosing the problem (supposedly) and even more time on the phone with Infiniti Tech Support. They came back with the recommendation to replace the catalytic converters and told me it would cost $3,500. I took it down the street to an independent guy who, in less than 30 minutes, determined the plugs weren't getting a consistent spark. He then worked backwards until only the computer was left as a possible problem. He called Infiniti Tech Support (the same people the dealer supposedly spoke to) and asked if there were any known issues with the QX56 computer or IPDM (Intelligent Power Distribution Module). They said there were known issues with the IPDM in the QX56, G35, and the Nissan Armada and Titan. He called a different Infiniti dealer to order the IPDM and, as they laughed, asked how many he needed, saying they were "flying of the shelf." But my dealer had no idea about this issue. I paid the dealer $367 for their misdiagnosis. I paid $394 for the independent guy to replace the IPDM and it runs like a champ. Had I spent the $3,500 replacing the catalytic converters, I would have driven off the lot and stalled again - only to have them invent come up with more costly solutions. Incidentally, my catalytic converters are fine... While I was having the IPDM repaired, I asked them to look at 3 other issues that the dealer had identified as significant problems that needed fixing quickly. The cost for those 3 items would have been $1,600. The independent guy said that there were no existing problems that Infiniti described. Bottom line: Infiniti dealer suggested $5,100 in work that didn't need to be done and didn't address my problem. I saved $4,700 by getting a second opinion.

Where is the 350z tail light fuse located?

there is a 3rd fuse box located on the left side of the battery, remove battery cover, then remover the plastic piece the battery cover is set into by removing the plastic holding pins using a flat head screw driver to pop up the center. then remove the passangerside air vent cover (atached to the 2nd plastic piece). then there is a cover to the IPDM (intelligent power distribution module), the fuse for the tail lights is the top left 10a fuse. if this solves your problem then great, but if you replace this fuse and he keeps blowing on you then the problem is with the relay inside the IPDM. these go for about $800, so if you have warrenty go to your dealer. if not theres a few things you can do. download the Nissan service manual. locate harness E7 (this is the center grey rectangular connecter in the center of the IPDM). remove terminal 22 (if looking directly at the bottom of the harness with the locking clip to the left its the 2nd bottom left slot, and i really mean slot, not wire, most modles have no wire on the very left bottom). clip that wire from the harness and using a ohm meter measure to the ground terminal of the battery, should read 1ohm. then connect this wire to you daytime running lights. tada, ur gold again and it costed you zero$$$

What is an idpm?

An IPDM is an Intelligent Power Distribution Module. It contains the majority of your fuses and relays. It is wired through the CAN (Controller Area Network)system to the ECM (Engine Control Module) and BCM (Body Control Module). If it fails it will cause multiple codes that seem to not have any correlation with each other.
