When introducing a new cat/dog into a home with a cat/dog keep the new animal in a separate, closed off room for a few days until it adjusts to it's new environment. Then keep both animals on a leash, and let them meet. A vet told me if introducing a cat into a home with a dog, to put the dog in it's crate and let the cat walk around it.

ANY cat CAN do good with dogs. If they have been around a dog, then yes they would do well. i have 2 cats and 2 dogs.
