You do not need to 'jail break' an iPod Touch as iPod's are not a contract service, they work purely via wifi via your home or other physical Internet. all you have to to is go to the setting and enable the wifi signal and then enter the details of the wifi signal you want to join.
have or be by a wireless router.then go to settings,wi-fi,wi-fi on,then if u want or is by a different network u can get the ipod to ask u if u want to join that network u are by.If u want it to then click ask to join networks on.
i have the same problem and i got to the Internet and then click my router but it says "Unable to join the network". i do not know why please help me!
The IPod touch is more than a simple mp3 player. Normal mp3 players cannot join a Wifi and download new songs right then. Normal mp3 players cannot play videos. Normal mp3 players cannot go to the app store and download games and other applications. Simply put, the IPod touch is not just an mp3 player, it's a tiny entertainment center.
