To jump start a Vauxhall Vivaro van, start by removing the battery cover. I HAD SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH MY MOVANO TIPPER TRUCK. gAVE IT TO GARAGE SEVERAL TIMES AND THIS PROBLEM BAFFLED THEM. THEY EVENTUALLY SPOTTED THAT THE ONBOARD THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM HAD SPOTTED A PROBLEM WITH THE CAM SHAFT/CAMBELT SENSOR WHICH INTURN STOPPED THE VAN FROM STARTING
