Slow Worms are a protected species.
Europe: In the UK the Wildlife and Countryside Act of 1981 declares that it is illegal to intentionally kill, injure, sell or advertise to sell them.
1 ) It is illegal to kill, injure or sell wild slow worms.
2 ) The Law only applies to wild animals therefore you are allowed to sell captive bred slow-worms without the need for a license.
3 ) If you wish to sell wild caught slow-worms, a license is required.
4 ) Any animal conceived and born in a controlled environment is considered captive bred, therefore the laws do not apply.
5 ) However, any animal produced as a result of a fertile egg taken from the wild and hatched in a controlled environment (captivity) would be considered taken from the wild and therefore the laws apply.
6 ) Likewise with a gravid female slow-worm taken from the wild and born in a controlled environment would be considered taken from the wild and the laws apply.
first you need bricks then you pile them up leaving holes for the slow worms to get in... then you need a bit of compost some hedge trimmings and grass cuttings then put them in, then you get a carpet sample drill a hole in and, get a loop of string and place it through the hole and tie a pencil on the other end. you place the carpet sample on top of the pile and leave it for 1 or 2 days. then get a stick and using the loop you pull the carpet up and you should have some slow worms...
You can buy them from catcher online. It is rare to find a breeder, but it is possible.
Earth Worms, keep everything else away
Indirectly, yes. Worms aid in the fertilization process, which in turn aids the growth of plants.
There aren't many insects that eat garden worms. However, ants will eat garden worms that they find around the garden dead.
They are useful because worms chew your food and turn it into garden fertilizer.

can earth worms be put directly in garden
Usually you will see them.
If by 'garden snake' you meant Garter Snake (Genus Thamnophis) - then yes. Worms are part of their natural diet.
worms will slow your computer down really bad
it's not a good idea since they are wild animals and it is animal cruelty to keep them locked up. I think there is a law protecting them. Don't think that slow worms will start to like you, even if they have known you all their life. They are leg-less lizards, only mammals will grow an affection for you (if they ever do)
