Wine vinegar does not contain any wine and cannot go bad.
To keep it from drying out and letting air seep into the bottle which will make the wine bad in other words corked.
The best way to keep an unopened bottle of wine from going bad is to keep it laying on it's side in a cool, dark place. Once open, to keep it as long as possible, replace the cork or top after every glass. If you just put the cork back after opening, I usually would recommend finishing it within the next 48 hours. Some wines could last longer than others. There are a variety of tools and gadgets to help keep your wine lasting longer though. Air changes the taste of wine, so these tools aim to remove as much air as possible from coming into contact. Two that are popular are an Argon gas spray that is heavier than air thus blocking air from hitting the wine, but does not interact with the wine. The other is a vacuum pump, which will just remove the air from the bottle. I've had luck keeping wine for a week or longer using either.
