How do you keep your Farmville activity from bothering your friends who do not play Farmville?

Tell them to hide posts from Farmville from their News Feed.
Either send them the URL of this question so they can view the instructions below, or give these instructions to them yourself.
To do this,
- Tell them to find a Farmville Post from you on their News Feed.
- After they've found a post, tell them to click on the "X" that will appear on the top-right corner of the Farmville post when their mouse hovers over it.
- After clicking on the "X", tell them too chose the option "Hide Posts from Farmville".
After that, any Farmville related posts from anyone will no longer appear in their news feed.
Should you not have a post of the application that you wish to block you can go to that applications Facebook page and to the left of the browser should be a link that says Block App.
